We carry out over 500 bathroom adaptations each year which can range from the bare minimum of work required, such as removal of bath, creation of level access shower area, curtain rail and curtain, safety flooring, remedial tiling, shower, grab rails and seat.
We understand that not everyone likes the idea of a wet floor shower area, in which case there are low access shower trays available in a large range of sizes to suit all room shapes, sizes and client requirements, and we are more than happy to offer these instead of a ‘Wet floor’.
We can also include some or all of the following items, depending on how much you want us to do:
Removal of dividing wall, new WC Suite, new washbasin, full tiling, shower screens, extractor fan, heater, radiator, door widening, full decorative work, and pretty much anything else you can think of provided it is suitable for a wet environment.
Without exception, every room and property that we work in is individual, and whilst we are more than happy to advise you on the technical issues and practicality of what you wish to achieve, the extent of the works and the finish required is entirely up to you, and we will quote for and carry out as little or as much as you want us to!
The vast majority of the level access showers that we provide and install are known as ‘Wet floor Showers’ in so much as the proposed graded shower area is formed and graded to the required size. This area is then covered overusing either non-slip safety flooring or floor tiles which in both cases are then extended throughout the rest of the room so that the shower area effectively becomes part of the floor area within the room.
